Shahd Vita Bio began with a simple observation: Morocco produces some of the most extraordinary honeys in the world, yet finding them pure โ truly pure โ has become harder and harder. Between blended imports, overheated industrial honey and jars of uncertain origin, the authentic taste of the Moroccan terroir was getting lost. We decided to bring it back.
From the mountains to your table
Our journey starts in the field, alongside the beekeepers. We work with passionate, small-scale producers across Morocco’s great honey regions: the high slopes of the Atlas where zandaz and wild thyme bloom, the arid Anti-Atlas where the legendary Daghmouss flowers, the eucalyptus groves of the Atlantic plains and the fragrant citrus orchards of the Souss. Each honey is harvested where its flower actually grows, at the moment nature decides โ not before, not after.
Raw, pure, and nothing else
Our commitment is uncompromising: every jar of Shahd Vita Bio honey is 100% natural. Cold-extracted, gently filtered, never heated, never blended, with nothing added and nothing taken away. If a honey crystallises in your cupboard, we consider that a badge of honour โ it is what real, living honey does.
